El-Seym is a construction company specializing in high-quality residential and commercial building projects. The website is designed with a creative horizontal scrolling layout, offering an interactive and visually dynamic browsing experience that highlights the company’s diverse services and successful projects.

My Role

I was responsible for the full development and design of the website, focusing on a horizontal scrolling feature that enhances user engagement and showcases the company’s work in a modern, innovative way. My contributions included:

• Creative Horizontal Scrolling Design, Implemented a horizontal scrolling layout for the portfolio and services pages, allowing users to explore content in an interactive and visually appealing manner.
• UX/UI Design, Developed a sleek, user-friendly interface with smooth transitions and visually attractive elements that convey the company’s professionalism and expertise.
• WordPress Development, Built the website using Elementor, ensuring easy content management while maintaining the unique horizontal scrolling experience.
• Project Portfolio, Displayed the company’s construction projects with a dynamic horizontal scrollable gallery, enabling users to view multiple projects in a single view with interactive navigation.
• Service Details & Information, Added thorough details about construction services with scrolling sections that smoothly guide users through the offerings.
• Client Testimonials, Integrated a testimonial carousel that is smoothly integrated into the scrolling design, creating a smooth, engaging user journey.

Challenges & Solutions

Horizontal Scrolling Optimization: Implementing horizontal scrolling on a site that also needs to be responsive on mobile and desktop devices was a key challenge. I ensured that the scrolling mechanism was optimized for all screen sizes with smooth transitions and ease of use.

Engaging User Experience: Horizontal scrolling can sometimes confuse users if not implemented intuitively. To ensure ease of navigation, I included clear navigation buttons and smooth animations, guiding users through the content without friction.

Future Enhancements

SEO Optimization: Continuing to enhance SEO strategies to attract local customers who are searching for construction services in the region. Project Management Features: Integrating a project management tool that allows clients to track their ongoing construction projects directly on the website. Enhanced Mobile Experience: Fine-tuning the mobile version of the website to ensure a flawless horizontal scrolling experience on all devices.
